I have a Mac and when someone sends me photos they automatically appear in
the e-mail. Is there a way to do the same for Outlook in Office Pro for XP?
This driving my wife nuts when I e-mail something to her. She has to open up
a whole bunch of attachments which is annoying.

I would like the attachments (photos) to open automatically in the lower
pane. Is this even possible in Outlook? Any help will be greatly
appreciated.

No. Outlook was intentionally designed not to display attachments inline
unless you're viewing an HTML item with images or an RTF mail item with OLE
embedded objects.
Outlook Express views attachments inline.

Thank you.

Hi everybody. I have this same complaint. It is especially annoying after
switching from Outlook Express, which I did after I got my PDA. I found a
work around that may help you. You may have to experiment a little. Highlight
one of the photo links in the email and then select all (Ctrl + A), then open
one of the photos. If they open in Windows Photo and Fax Viewer, you can then
use the back and forward buttons at the bottom of the viewing window, and you
can also use the side buttons on your mouse, if it has them. It works for me.
Good luck! Jimmy.
