Hi,

My hoster says i'm using 37% of my space. But where goes all that
space? Into the pictures-folder? Into my first site? Or my second? I
don't know ... what i know is that a tool somewhere exists ;-) who can
do this job: view the space usage of a ftp server. But i can't remember
his name and google didn't help me much. Can you help me?

Oh yeah, something like this ...

are there more alternatives around? To choose is always better ;-)

Tnx Susan,

I tried now several times to scan my webspace. Several times the
program quits because some "lost" folder had the wrong CHMOD and
weren't accesible.

What do you mean by "snip crucial information?"

*don't* snip crucial information. . .

the above is an example of what not to do. . .

When you say "the program quits" what program are you referring to? The
program name is crucial information.

refer to the only given post :-D

Whatever you like. . . When posts don't contain *all* the information
I
need to understand them I usually don't reply. I'm rather regretting
making an exception in this case. ;)

Tnx ... :-D

Not everyone has all previous posts available at all times. In fact,
some of us read only off line, and have only a few posts on hand at a
time. I almost never have more than 12 hours of acf on my computer at
one time (I read it twice a day), aside from the valuable posts I
archive.

Not that quoting an entire 400 line post to say "me too" is a good
thing, but try to keep the flow together, at least.

"Not everyone has all previous posts available at all times. "

First, i was always using a newsgroup reaper. Nowadays i read them
through google. In that way i have always all the posts around, can
search in other newsgroups and (important ;-) ) can see what others
wrote before me.

Unfortunately, Google don't shows a tree-structure.

And its reply function is seriously broken.
