C Chris A. Jun 27, 2008 #3 There is a registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security. It contains a key called "OutlookSecureTempFolder ". Delete the key! This fixed my issue with any embedded GFX and the red cross.

R Roady [MVP] Jun 28, 2008 #4 No, don't delete that key. Simply cleanup the folder that it is pointing to as apparently you've got too many temp-files in there. Deleting that registry with orphan that folder. See http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/securetemp.htm
