View only after remote assistance connection...

After I connect to my friend computer using remote assistance, it's showing "screen view only". I can't get control in the remote computer. Do I have to setup and miss something?

At the top left of the expert's screen, there is a button called "take
control." You have to hit that one to gain control and the novice has to
reply OK on their end.
