i was using office 2000, switched to 2003. in my old worksheets where i used
different colors for the text or data in the cells, i was able to see the
different colors. now, i can't see those colors except in print preview.
how can i view them in my worksheet.

The fill color, the fill pattern, or the line color of a WordArt or
AutoShape object in an Office document does not change

this is in excel...i'm not changing wordart or autoshape. i'm clicking on
the cell to change the text color and it shows up black on the worksheet.
the color i changed it to shows up when i do print preview.

Did you try the proposed solution?

Turn off the High Contrast setting and then post back if still having a problem.
