video/sound interupt

greetings and best to all for the new year

having a prob when on the internet and playing a dvd at the same time. every
time i open a page there is a break in the music i am trying to listen to.
it's prob a video or sound driver prob but not sure where to start fiddling.

as always appreciate advise

Hi Don:

Being on the internet - depending on what you're doing - and playing a
DVD can be very taxing on your system resources alone. You're doing both
together. Are you surprised?

Hi Don:

The fact that this issue only recently appeared is not by itself
indicative of anything. Software and media are continually evolving and
eventually they will reach the point where your system starts to
complain if you try to do too much at one time.
