Video size is always larger than the window

Using XP Professional.

No matter if I use WMP, Real, or Quicktime, when i play
the video file, I will always get the video larger than
the video screen. It's not becasue it's zoomed because
changing the zoom magnifcation always changes the video
screen size. In my case, the video is already larger than
the 100% video screen. Help me please....
