Video playback

I use Microsoft XP home edition and have AverTV loaded. I can record
programmes to my hard drive but on playback it defaults to mute and I can get
no sound.

Are there any suggestions?

i am too having the same bother. i have noticed that to playback mpeg on
nero vision express, you need a plug-in. But i have some of my own videos
which i have transferred from camcorder, in mpeg format, which worked before
sp2 and now i dont have any sound on them. i have been researching the
internet but have not found anything yet. Let me know if you have any luck
