I have a user that (for what reason I don't know)disabled
the video driver on his XP pro laptop. He went into
settings of the adapter -> properties and selected "do
not use this device, disable". Now obviously the video
driver doesn't work and I've tried bringing the laptop up
in safe mode and safe mode w/ VGA and still nothing on
the screen after the Windows welcome screen. Any help is
appreciated.

Thanks,
Glen

Does the machine Boot? Can you 'see' it on the network?
Try adding this to boot.ini in place of /fastdetect (save
a copy first!)

Failing that - I assume you get a BIOS splash screen - set
to Boot from CD and install parallel copy of O/S - minimum
install. Boot to parallel copy. Use regedt32 to load
registry on failed system and fiddle about from there.
