Here ya go. See if this works for you. Go here and download the ATI
Uninstaller -
http://www2.ati.com/drivers/cat-uninstaller.exe
Also, go here and download the latest drivers and install them after you
run the above uniinstaller and REBOOT -
http://www.ati.com/home/online/CatalystXPdriver.html
Finally, when booting your computer, check in your BIOS (by pressing
either DEL key or F1) and look for Sidebanding, Fastwrites, and AGP. If
you find those, set the proper settings for them. Your motherboard may
not support certain things, but some of these functions may be disabled.
Also, Fastwrites is not that important and actually causes instability
often times. OmegaDrivers (Gamers version of ATI Catalyst Drivers) have
that feature disabled.
Once you have done all this, and have reinstalled the drivers, go back
and see if it is working. If not, try playing with Everest Home Edition
from
www.lavalys.com and see what it tells you about your Video Card.
