What is this? what does it do ? Can it be used with a dile-up modem, and if
so how is it connected?I have a V2 Premier system. But only dile-up modem is
available where I am .Will using this improve system preformence and
downloads?

It is your network card.

A network card is different from a dial-up modem. They aren't
interchangable.

Hi, that particular network device is usually one built into the motherboard
and not a seperate network card. You should see a port on the back similar
to that of a connector into your phone, it's called a RJ45, I think. It can
be used for connecting two PC's together, or into a router that enables a
network with many PC's linked together. One other use is if you've a ADSL,
broadband, router which will enable more than one PC to access the
internet....
