Hi all,
One of the users had this issue yesterday, and I thought it was caused by
virus, but it seems not.
He has a Dell Latitude laptop with a docking station that's hooked up to a
LCD monitor.
It's on Windows XP pro sp1, Symantec Antivirus corporate, MS Office,
etc......
Here is what happened. He tried to close everything to turn off his laptop,
so he could go home.
All of sudden, 20 folders and programs opened at the same time!!! Most of
the folders and programs were "null"
according to the error message, and it disabled the real time virus scanner
at that time. I attempted to close everything to reboot, but it didn't
respond.
I ran the virus scan with the latest definition, but nothing was found. I
somehow rebooted the laptop, and all seems to be fine again.
What is this? Memory overflow or something? Have you guys seen this
before?
Thanks.
