Very slow to open Excel 2003

We use Office 2003. Each time when I open Excel program, it would take more
than 1 min, even this is blank spreadsheet. Does someone here help me to fix
this issue?

One thought .. maybe you have quite a number of 3rd party add-ins loaded? Try
spring-cleaning those which you don't really use frequently. Click Tools >
Add-ins, then uncheck the add-ins > OK.
