Very slow network on Xp sp2

I have 2 boxes connected though a router/hub. Both boxes
are running XPPro with SP2, NIC's are set at 100 full
duplex, I can download files off the internet 4 times as
fast as I can transfer them over the LAN. Anyone else
having this trouble. Thanks for any ideas
