Very Slow After Virus clean up

i have a couple of computers that are unbareably slow. they don't get any
virus detections anymore on scan, but i see weird processes. when i stop
them another with a similar name is instantly started. the processor and
memory levels are relatively low, but everything is very slow and most
programs just won't run. anyone know what i have? or how to fix it?

Weird process names could be programs that don't run often (unlikely),
ad-or-spyware (more likely) or viruses that have escaped detection (more
likely).

Can you give some names of these processes that are appearing?
