very high CPU usage

Hi all

Sometimes when I first turn on and log on to my PC, the
arrow in my mouse shows timesand (like it is processing
something).

When I look at the task manager, the performance tab
suggested that the CPU usage is 50-60%, while I do not
seem to run anything.

The question is:
- how can i tell what cause such a large CPU usage?

Ctrl/Alt/Del
Look under the Processes tab.
Click "CPU" and you can sort by usage.
You can then see what processes are being used most to least.
