After reinstalling XP home, I regularly don't see images
on webpages. This didn't happen before I re-installed.
I can't seem to find a hot fix or service pack for this
problem, what should I do?

Right click on Internet Explorer.
Go to Advanced.
Go to Multimedia in the list.
Check pictures. If checked, uncheck and check again.
If this doesnt work, you might try someone elses reply, sorry :-(.

hope this helps you

You ARE getting SOME or MOST images though, correct?

Perhaps you installed Kazaa lite? If so, it has a file that blocks some
"known" advertisements and images from known ad-servers even if Kazaa lite
not running. Great feature and if that's the case, you're not missing
anything. BUT- if these are ads or images are coming from blocked servers
that you know of and really want them to reach you, then you can edit the
file that Kazaa Lite has written and remove that particular entry in the
list.

In WinXP, the file is called "Hosts" and does NOT have an extension. Choose
to open it with Notepad and delete the entry that you want to get through.

The path to find this file is:
C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc

If it's not Kazaa Lite doing this than it could be some other ad-blocking
software that you may have running.
