Vertical Line on new pages how to get rid of.

I often have a vertical black line across to top of a new page. This happens
most often when I copy and paste. I can not get rid of it. Can anyone
please help me turn this off of get rid of it.

That doesn't look vertical to me, but if it is as you display it, see if
