Hi

How can I find out what Device I miss in my Database if I have a the
following as missing Hardware Devices in my log:
- pci\ven_1078&dev0101&cc_068000&rev_00
- *CRX0002 (*CRX0002)

Thanks for your help.
Franz

You might want to search Google with the Vendor / device part of the number,
or search a PCI database.

http://www.pcidatabase.com/vendor_details.php?id=505 indicates the device to
be an SMI status and ACPI timer. Most likely part of the chipset drivers.

Chip Number: Cx5530
Chip Description: SMI status and ACPI timer
Notes: Kahula chipset for MediaGX CPU, function #1

If the search for XP-E drivers won't work,
you can compomize the XP Professional drivers.

There are some nice tutorials and tools available
for this reason.

Contact me offline per e-mail, I will send you all the
needed informations:

If you have the driver disk that came with the hardware, you can take the
XP Pro drivers and convert them into components.

Thank you guys.
I have already componentized many 2000/XP drivers for XPe.
The problem is that I even don't find a driver for 2000 or XP, and there are
no driver for this from the Hardware supplier either.
It seems that I just have to try and see if the system runs without this
driver or at least find out what's missing exactly.
