I have always used the "view full screen option" in
Microsoft Explorer. At one time there was an option to
make every explorer window open in full screen. That
option has been missing in properties for some time.
Is there anyway to make explorer always open in full
screen?
Thanks...gary moore

You have needed to upgrade for a LONG time then:

"Internet Explorer 5 (and up..) no longer uses either of the Full Screen
mode options that were available in Internet Explorer 4.x. When you start
Internet Explorer, it retains the state of the last Internet Explorer window
that you closed."

You can set it to open full screen in a way.. Open ONE Internet Explorer
window, press F11 - that toggles Full Screen mode. Close Explorer. The
next Explorer window you open will be Full Screen. It remembers the last
state, as quoted.

Double-click My Computer, and without drilling down into any drives or
folder, set up Windows Explorer any way you want it. Then close the My
Computer window. Next time you double-click My Computer, it will re-appear
just the way you had set it.
