script blocking? I'm a novice

You do this in IE\Properties\Security\Custom Level.. Scroll down to scripting towards the bottom and check if it is Disabled and blocked for your browser

Still ticking.

That's great, it's always nice to run into someone from the past.

I don't know if you remember Carlos or not, I (Carlos) just want to say
hello.

I truly apologize to the OP for hijacking this thread.

Good luck.

Did this get solved? I have the same issue...
I get 0x80004005 when trying:

regsvr32 %SystemRoot%\system32\vbscript.dll

Also downloaded this:
WindowsXP-Windows2000-Script56-KB917344-x86-enu.exe
And it fails when registering the vbscript.dll as well...

Im at a loss on this one...
Thanks.

If XP, Did the 5.6 download install ?
After installing 5.6, Shutdown/Restart then determine your installed version
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/scrptfaq.mspx
Scroll to "How can I tell if I have the right software installed on my computer?", follow the instructions for creating a vbs file in notepad, then double click.
Does it report the correct version(s) for your o/s as shown in the table in the above link ?

Other options, rename vbscript.dll to vbscript.old, if 5.6 is installed, Windows should replace it with the file stored in its dll cache folder almost immediately.

If it still doesn't register..you may wish to post your issue to
microsoft.public.scripting.vbscript
or contact Apple support

Just curious, one last question, Is IE7 installed ?
