I think I corrupted something , so I could not reply
directly to you.Anyhow I am working with VBA and I am
creating numerical files (coordinates etc)which I wish to
add together .

Ok, we've got files of numerical data, VBA and merging. To misquote a
certain doctor - "Can you state the nature of the programming emergency?". In
others words, how would you like to be helped?
