Hi

While running an Access macro I am getting a VB error stating "Compile
Error" Can't find project or library. When I click O.K it takes you to a
reference page which shows MISSING: Microsoft Excel 11.0 Object Library. The
macro is creating an excel document it needs this library to create the
excel object.

Does anyone know why?

This probably means that the code was written on a higher version of Excel
than the one that you are running on. The new machine will not have Excel
11.0 Object Library, but I bet it has a lower version. If you scroll down
and find that lower version, check it, and uncheck the 11.0 version, it
should work.

Moral. Develop on the lowest Excel deployment version.
