Variable option list

I want to make a sheet where the end user has to make, lets say, three
choices. The first one has four options. The second choice has ten, the
last one five. Not all combinations are valid and I would like to limit
the option list for the second and third option list to only valid
options.

Example: first choice (material) is paper / plastic / wood / metal. If
you choose metal, your second option list (operation) is limited to
three options (cut / paint / bend). Choosing paint leaves one option
for the third choice (Supplier). "Supplier X"

My question:
How do I limit the option list for a cell to valid combinations (based
on previous choice (s) )
 
Thanks Roger. I think I will be able to make something out of that.
Only have to translate formulas into Dutch, but that should not be too
much of a problem.
