Hello,

I'm in the early stages of choosing components for a new PC.
First I've chosen a Vantec power supply because there're the ONLY make
that I've seen with a AC outlet on the back of the PSU (which is very important
to me). (The model I'm referring to is Vantec ION 400W ATX).

My question is:- I'm in the UK and upon looking at close up pictures of the
AC outlet, it doesn't seem to be the correct shape for the power lead (coming) from my current monitor. Has the UK model got a different shaped socket?

Has anyone else got a PSU from the Vantec range and is happy with it?

Take a look here - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Antec_103.html - they don't have the exact model you seek but they do have Vantec PSUs. Or you could go and take a look here:

http://www.overclock.co.uk/customer/product.php?productid=16886&cat=424&page=1 which is a UK vendor of them. Email them and ask your question. Or...

....go to Vantec's website and read through their manuals here:

Hope this helps,

John.
