Vanishing Ports?

We are running WIN2K SP4 and we have noticed that all of
the print ports have gone from the server properties.
They are not visable on any workstaion or from any server.

We run most of our printers from a range of Intel to HP
print servers.

Any ideas why the ports would have vanished and how on
earth do we get them back?

This is causing a massive headache now as printouts seem
to be going to the wrong rooms and causing total mayhem!

Any help would be grateful
 
If the ports are "gone" when you attempt to remotely administrate the print
server, this is an RPC configuration in the spooler. If you can't get the
port list locally, verify that the registry information for the port monitor
(Standard TCP/IP Port??) is valid.
