You could try a clean install without the floppys,ie boot
straight from windows XP CD.
Restart PC without inserting any disc, then enter BIOS at
startup press DEL or F1 or F2 (Button differs on
PC's).Once in BIOS look for "BOOT" menu setup, when you
found it change the FIRST "BOOT DEVICE TO CD/DVD" and
have boot devices 2/3 as HDD/Floppy.Now exit saving
changes.
Thats it now, just insert windows XP disc and off it
should go on a clean install.
Hopefully without errors "Fingers Crossed Aye"
