Validation of ViewState MAC failed

I just installed VS 2008 w/SP1 and now I'm getting this error. My web pages
worked fine yesterday before VS 2008. The first page that it appeared on is
a simple page with 2 ddls and 2 textboxes. I am also using AJAX on the page.
I've been looking at the other postings and trying the various suggestions
with no help.
I do know that the install also installed .Net 2.0 SP2 does anyone know if
this is the problem?

Sorry disregard my posting. Just in case someone else has this problem.
What happend was that I had copied the page and created a new one but I
didn't change the 'Action' parameter on the form tag. So it was trying to
post back to the original page.
