validation help plz - urgent

Hey guys

Hows it going? I really need your help. I am doing some work for my
project and cannot seem to figure out how to sort out information in
the drop-box.

for example, I have information in rows/column ranging from:
A4309 to B5396

the information in the A column is the main lookup value and the
information in B column are the corresponding values

ie.

A (Team #) B (value)
251 1103
251 1104
258 9407
258 9408
etc

ranging from once again, A4309 to B5396

Now when I try to validation the information in B5, ie. enter the TEAM
# to get the corresponding value, I get the values for the entire B
column. Also, it will not let me validate both A&B b/c it says the LIST
is to large ($A$4309:$B$5396), and thus I can only select the VALUE
column; leaving me with all the values but not the exact values for
say team 251. I hope you can follow what i am asking. pls,pls let me
know asap! thank you so muchh! really appreciate it!

is there another method for ppl who are not familiar with visual basic?
i really need this and it would be great if someone can help me out! if
it makes it easier ill send the file...anyz do tell....take

I was intrigued and fascinated when I saw you pop up window come up
when i opened the excel file you linked me to....ill appreciate it if
you can tell me how you made that b/c i am interested in making some
