validation controls in excel

Can I get a formula fr applyin a validation control on a cell which
accepts alphanumeric values with specified text length..its abit
urgent fr me..im new to this whole environment...
 
Use Data Validation with the Text Length option chosen, and set the Min and Max to the same value.
