When my laptop boots up these are the messages I get. The
screen tells me to re-install, but after I re-install the
Vaio Action Setup, then I get the next message that the
VAServe.exe needs to be re-installed. Then I get the
message that SeCommon.dll needs to be re-installed. In
what program can I find them? What are they?
Thanks

It doesn't really matter what they are. Withoutmore info
all I can say is this. What your problem sounds like is a
device that was installed and now is not has not been
properly uninstalled. I don't deal often with Sony, but
your best bet is to contact them and find out what device
or program they belong to and then fully uninstall it. If
you are somewhat experienced you could check your startup
entries in msconfig and see if the references show up
there, but untill you know what they refer to it isn't a
good idea to tamper with them. If you simply want to find
the files my guess is that the are on the disks that came
with the system.
