Is there a utility (or a web page) which displays the color that a
particular color code represents?

For example I would enter this:
#ece9d8
and I would get shown what the color is.

There are lots of web pages and utilities like ColorCop or
ColorSeizer which lets me pick a color and then tells me what the
color code is.

But it seems there are few which go the other way.

ColorCop does it: just paste #ece9d8 in the text box and you see the color.

Hello,

You can find on gratilog, the freeware:
Hexacol ( hexa color ) where yon set a hexa or decimal color
and reverse.

Kolorgenerator allows you to "directly input decimal or hexadecimal color
values".

Current version 1.1.0.3
220k, no-install

The table below displays the html strings for the 214 available ASCII
symbols you may need to include in your web page. There are both
numerical and alternate literal strings for many symbols, and either may
be used. To apply them in a webpage, simply type the full sequence as
shown, including the trailing semicolon. As an example, the copyright
(©) may be displayed as shown in this HTML example:
</q>

not in the table: €
&#128 (currency- Euro symbol)

LOL - yup, only several years old. . . A somewhat similar chart I like

Cross-post to a.c.f.d. and 100,000 other usenet groups.

This is a fantastic tool. Enter #ece9d8 and it will paint a small webpage...
Ah hell. Just go there. You will see what I mean.
