using xp client in a windows 2000 domain

We have a small network. We decided to upgrade on of tbe
workstations to xp pro. While the xp machine can see all
of the other workstations, the 2000 machines cannot see
the xp machine on the network. My question is, can I use
an xp client in a windows 2000 based domain?
If so, any ideas about what could be wrong?
