Using W0rd 2003, cannot open existing Word files, error message T.

After installing Office 2003, cannot open existing Word files.
Newly created files are saved but then cannot be opened.
Error message "The file 'filename' is not available"

Try asking in the word.setup.networking newsgroup, with a
cross-post to the office.setup newsgroup. Be sure to also
mention the version of WINDOWS.
