Hi

I have a Windows 2000 Terminal Services client. I am able to remotely access a Windows 2000 Server using this without problems. Now I try to use the same client to access a Windows 2003 server. It doesn't seem to work.

1) Do I need a special client to do this
2) Or is this client good enough to access a Windows 2003 Server?

Could you provide a sequence of steps that needs to take place for accessing (remote managing) a Windows 2003 server from a Windows 2000 Professional Client using Terminal services, if possible?

I look forward to a response at the earliest.

Bina

Yes, this should work (but if you can install the latest client, it would
probably work better).

What error do you get when it fails to connect? Any errors in the TS's
eventlog?

I enabled remote connections on the computer that I was tring to talk to. That fixed the problem. Thanks
