There was a feature like this way back in PPT 95(?) or so. Because almost
all projectors offer this feature as a means to rear project, it was not
continued in newer PowerPoint versions (to avoiding re-flipping a previously
flipped image, I suspect).
If you are not using a projector, but a simple TV that does not offer this
option, than use physics. Place the TV flat on the floor (facing away from
the audience and towards the podium) with a mirror directing the image up to
the teleprompter viewing plate. This creates a visual 'periscope' for the
TV image. For the cost of a 12"x12"mirror tile and a block of foam rubber
to hold it at angle, you will well on your way..
