Greetings Guru's,

I am running windows 2003 terminal services
with office 2003 SP2. I have some users that just need to send reports and I
really do not want to have them open outlook. They are using outlook 2003
configured for pop 3 and just using SMTP to send.

Problem:

User opens word document and selects "file send to mail
recipient" as attachment and clicks send.

The message will not send until outlook is open, also the messages appear to
be in the outbox.

Any help is appreciated.

JD

Outlook must be open to operate.

That's the way Outlook works. It won't send mail unless it's running.
