Outlook 2002 was the first version to include support for e-mail
accounts that use the HTTP protocol (instead of POP3/SMTP). It will
only support *one* HTTP e-mail account per mail profile (although some
folks have reported getting 2 Hotmail accounts defined, but later start
reporting problems). You have 2 choices (if you wish to remain with an
Outlook product as your e-mail client):

#1 - Upgrade to Outlook 2002.

#2 - Use Hotmail Popper.

Hotmail Popper is a local proxy (i.e., runs on your computer) which acts
as an HTTP-to-POP3 protocol converter. You define a POP3 account in
your e-mail client, your POP3 e-mail client connects to the POP3 side of
this proxy, and the HTTP side of this proxy connects to your webmail
provider (Hotmail). I haven't use Hotmail Popper. However, I have used
YahooPOPs to do the same thing with Yahoo e-mail accounts.
