Using HP Photosmart Email Portal with Outlook

HP photosmart comes with an email portal....enables drag
and drop of photos to your email....this works fine with
Outlook Express on my desktop running Win XP...but NOT
with MS Outlook...says it cannot connect with the MAPI
email program. Anyone had this problem or have any ideas??

I have no experience with HP PhotoSmart...but I'm
thinking it probably recognizes your default MAPI
client...if you have Outlook Express as your default
e-mail program that would explain why Outlook is
not recognized.

If you open an IE window and go to...Tools / Internet
Options / Programs tab you can see your default
e-mail program.

Searching the Outlook Help files for "default mapi
client" may produce some useful info.
