Using Event Viewer

In Event Viewer there is a report of 10 bad blocks. It's
a reporting a bad block, but is it reporting the same
ones 10 times or different ones. It's with the same error
number.
 
I don't think you can tell. If your partition is FAT32 then
I would boot the machine with a Win98 boot disk
(www.bootdisk.com) and run scandisk.exe.

Maybe the Disk Manager snap-in will tell you. I don't
have a flawed disk to confirm this . . .
