Using contact fields in the Inbox view

I would like to know how to use contact detail fields in the inbox vie
of outlook. I can choose the field chooser option and add fields suc
as birthday and nickname, but they are always blank. Contac
information is filled in.... any suggestions
 
You can't, because there is no contact data in the Inbox. Outlook folder
views show only the data in the current folder. The fact that Outlook lets
you add contact fields is simply misleading.
