Using cell reference with scenarios (What-if-analysis)

Is there any version of Microsoft Excel that allow me to
use a cell reference instead of a value. I have Excel 2000
and when I do this the program replace the cell reference
with its correspondng value.

Hi
not quite sure what you mean with 'using a cell reference'. Maybe you
can give an example. One idea: Have a look at the INDIRECT function.
This may what you're looking for

Hi,
I'm trying to get a comparison of some alternatives,
that's why I'm using "Scenarios". When the program ask me
for my changing cells'values I write a cell reference
instead of a value and a message tells me that my
reference will be replaced with its corresponding value.
Is there any form to fix that?
