Hi - I hope someone can help me.

Because of the peculiar layout of my house, one half of the house can
see the wireless access point, the other can't. I get round this in
one room by using a USB wifi adaptor and a long USB cable to stretch
lead into another room where it can get reception. This works fine.

Now, what if I put another wireless adaptor into this PC? Could I then
set up a bridge and basically make the PC into the access point for
the other side of the house.

Alternatively, is there software to make my PC into an access point
itself using the second adaptor?

I hope this makes sense!

Many thanks in advance,

Tony.

I don't know of any way to make the PC act as an AP, but wonder if you have
considered getting a wireless repeater. The price on these has come down
quite a bit lately.
