Using a shared database

Hi Friends
I have an access application in a netwrok, which is using
by 8 users.2 users are new data entry users and others are
just updating the data in previously added reords.But some
times it shows that the access file cannot be opened,
there many users. how can we avoid this problem,how the 8
users can use this file same time without any message.
Please help
