Hi,
I have 2 users on my XP. I am the Administrator and the other did use the
computer. How can I remove the other user account? I do not see a prompt
allowing me to eliminate the other account.
Thanks for any help.

Bert, sorry, just more of the same.

Similar Problem, created a new user but did not get a profile or user
directories.
I can logon with the new Id, but it uses a "default profile"and doesn't have
any access, even though he is an administrator.

On top of that, in a fit of security "likely justified"paranoia, I deleted a
user, and later recreated him. Instead of attaching him to the exiting file
structure, it created user2, with his own files. I cannot merge them. Its a
big mess.

You are a nit wit, and I am way smarter than you could ever hopr to be.

Problem now is that I have a set of folders I dont want under user:"_2""

Before you ask a stupid question, yes user:"_2" is already delted under
control panel
