Users Set Up Question

Hi,

I am the computer administrator on my Windows XP Pro.

Would like to set up a limited account for another family member.

However, I have found that a number of items are displayed on my desktop and
the limited account desktop. How can I delete these items from the limited
account and not have them disappear on my desktop?

I recall seeing a similar query posted on this but can't find it any more.

move them from 'all users' program folder(s) to 'your' program folder(s)
(right click start button, explorer, or 'explore all users'). Note that
this will not stop the user getting there some other way .. items on the
desktop are just one way of reaching a program, start, run <pathname>
will work like a hose, unless you specifically deny access to the
program/directory/etc. to that particular userID, having turned 'simple
file sharing' off first.
