Users can't change password from client computer

We're having problems when an user password expires. The users can't change
the password from his own computer instead they have to reset the password
on the domain controller.

What can I do to solve this problem?

Hello,
Are there any minimum password age set in the password policy for the
domain? Have a look at the KB below.

"You do not have permission to change your password" error message when you
try to change your password in Windows XP
