userenv error - registry no being unloaded

I'm getting the following error in the event log:

Windows saved user LARS\Hussam AL-Tayeb registry while an
application or service was still using the registry during
log off. The memory used by the user's registry has not
been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no
longer in use.
This is often caused by services running as a user account,
try configuring the services to run in either the
LocalService or NetworkService account.

In my case there are no services running as a user account
so this not the cause. this error started after I
uninstalled norton antivirus and installed mcafee virusscan
instead.

I have faced this problem in the past but I don't remember
how I fixed it.

Any ideas how this can be fixed?

PS. this error is only occuring in my user account and
there are actually no services running as my user account.

Hi,

Dumb question maybe, but did you install Mcafee (yuck) while logged on as
Administrator, or while logged on as your normal user?

Hi,

With fastuser switching enabled, does it show any other users in the users
tab of Task Manager?

fast user switching is on cause I'm running 2 users at
once, on for me and another for my sister. mine is an
administrator accound and the other is a limited account so
it does show 2 users

I am running the detonator drivers 44.03 but i've had these
long before the problem exissted

Hi,

So if your sister's acct is logged off, does the problem still occur?

Yes it does, it happens when I log off even if there are
other users still logged on
