Hi all,

One of my users would like to know whether there is a keyboard shortcut to
go to the next page (or first or last page) when viewing a report in Print
Preview. Seems like a reasonable request, as I prefer to not use the mouse
myself, but I couldn't turn anything up in menus or Help or via google.

Beating a dead horse?

TIA,

SusanV

Hi Susan - PageDown and PageUp to go next and previous pages, Shift and End
to last page - Shift Home to first page.

Yours - Dika

That's what I thought too, but nope - the report orientation in the window
moves (page up and page down move the page in the window up and down, home
and end move left or right), but the report remains on the same page. Shift
has no effect.

<sigh>

Thanks for the try though Dika!

Dika was right, but you must be have fit to page selected to move pages.

Pressing Z will Zoom you from Fit to Page to whatever percentage you have
set and from whatever percentage to Fit to Page.

So try pressing Z and then the keystrokes as mentioned. By the way the
arrow keys in combination with the control key

From Access 97 Help screen
Use shortcut keys in Print Preview and Layout Preview

Dialog box and window operations Press
To open the Print dialog box P or CTRL+P
To open the Page Setup dialog box S
To zoom in or out on a part of the page Z
To cancel Print Preview or Layout Preview C or ESC
View different pages Press

To move to the page number box; then type the page number and press ENTER F5

To view the next page (when Fit To Window is selected) PAGE DOWN or

To view the previous page (when Fit To Window is selected) PAGE UP or

or last page
when in Fit to window is selected.

Ah so THAT'S the trick! Alt-Z then page up/down or arrow left right. Wheee!
Thank you so much both of you - Bob will be pleased (as am I!)

Ah yes, you're right - I automatically tossed in the Alt without trying the
Z alone. Thanks again John, from me AND my users
