PC 1: HOST: Windows XP Home Edition
PC 2: CLIENT: Windows Media Center Edition
Software in issue: Amicus Attorney V
The above software is installed in PC 1. It requires C drive from PC 1 to be
mapped in PC 2 Client so the clients would be able to use this software and
PC 1 would act as a server for this software.
Problem:
I am unable to map PC 1's C drive on PC 2 because of "Access Denied" errors.
Is the reason because of Home Edition?
Or can I choose Connect using "different user name" so I would have access
in PC 1 thru a mapped drive in PC 2?
If so, what do I type for username? \\PC1\username? or \\PC1\C\username?
Please advise.
Thank you.
